Wow. What a provocative question. So “hard” to answer, LOL! I always thought the two went “hand in hand” (or mouth to skin … whatever!). I give/receive both so never really differentiated between the two. If “hard pressed” to only choose one, though, I guess it would be bite.

As an aside, I recently read THE DOCTOR’S MEANT-TO-BE MARRIAGE and absolutely loved it. Many thanks. I enjoyed the pace of the book and couldn’t put it down until I finished it. Normally I remember the H/h characters, but with this book, the patients were memorable as well. My favourite thing, though, I think would be the awareness between the H/h all the time. Just loved it.

Hi Laney4! Yea! So glad you enjoyed Jared and Chelsea’s story. :) There have been a few books I’ve written that I have wanted to give patients stories of their own. I briefly touch on Gloria, Caden, & Lacy from that story in Playboy Surgeon, Top-Notch Dad. I had a little more, but had to cut it in edits. :( My heart just went out to Lacey and I could really see someday writing her a story where she’s gone to nursing school. She deserves a hero to sweep her off her feet. :) And yea! on the awareness between Jared and Chelsea coming through. I like that awareness/tension between my characters and its great to know when it actually happens the way I mean for it to. :) Thanks again for the wonderful comments! And for letting us know you are a biter. :)

  3. cheryl c. says:

Since I just KNOW your question refers to ice cream cones, I will say both lick and bite! ;-)

  4. Laney4 says:

I really must get my mind out of the gutter. I didn’t even think that it could refer to ice cream (etc.)! (Probably because I don’t eat ice cream very often.) Jeesh! (Red face….)

If indeed you were inquiring about foods to eat, I’d have to go with licking, at least for ice cream. Way too cold on my teeth to bite into ice cream.

Have a great day! I hope your blog post will result in lots of smiles for you!

  5. chey says:

    Ice cream. Of course. Lick.

  6. Leni says:

I would say both, but if I have to choose I say bite.

  7. Janice Lynn says:

Ya know, I was referring to those Tootsie Roll pops. Ya know, the ones with the commercial with the owl they go to to see how many licks it takes to get to the center? That’s where my mind was. :) Shame on Tawny for leading y’all down a nether path. ;)

  8. Tawny says:

LOL, now I want it known that *I* didn’t come up with the question. I just ran with it ;-)

Janice, can you tell us about your newest release?

  9. Janice Lynn says:

My current release is one of my favorite books ever–aren’t they all? right? LOL. My hero is so much fun in this one, and such a great guy. Sigh. He’s a heart surgeon who specializes in heart valve replacements. I love to write stories that also gives the reader insight to something new.

Currently I’m writing a Christmas story and that’s new for me. :) My editor says the more Christmas the better. I’m having lots of fun with that. :)

  10. Nicole S says:

My mind went right to the gutter with that question good thing I read the comments before leaving one LOL I always lick my ice cream cones. And for the tootise pops, I suck on them so I neither lick or bite lol

I have to agree, I like baseball pants too :D

You have some really nice looking guys on your covers.

  11. Kirsten says:

I always have ice cream out of a tub, with a spoon. But if I had to choose how to eat a cone I would lick.

  12. Janice Lynn says:

Ice cream…I promise, I was not thinking of ice cream when I came up with that either/or. I really was thinking of Tootsie Pops. LOL!! Y’all are so funny. And, Nicole S, you made me laugh out loud with your comment!!!! I think my mind went straight to the gutter, too, with that one!!! :)

  13. marrie says:

I say lick, but I was thinking of the nice orange candy slices that I’m not supposed to eat, why is all the GOOD things forbidden.Guess that why they are forbidden, to much good stuff is not good for the BRAIN?
