Alpha, beta or gamma? Alpha! My paranormal romance series is about hot alpha werewolves and their human mates with the mark of the wolf known as wolf maidens. Â My alphas can shift at any time, however the betas can only shift during the full moon.
Historical or Contemporary? I prefer historical but I do enjoy some contemporary novels. My first book in the Wolf Maiden Chronicles, Werewolf Sanctuary is a contemporary that leads to my ‘werewolf historical/fantasy novels’.
Romantic suspense or Romantic comedy? I like both. My own paranormals are more of a romantic suspense.
Light or Dark? Dark like my chocolate.
Chest hair or bare? Chest hair, but light. I write about werewolves.
Vampire or werewolf? Werewolf. My lycans can go out in the day unlike most vamps, wolves have one life mate, I love wolves, and the wolf is one of my power animals. So I run and dance with wolfen men.
Question for the blog reader: What is your favorite werewolf movie and why?
One lucky winner will get a e- copy of Werewolf Sanctuary
Eva Gordon writes fantasy and paranormal novels with a strong romantic element. Werewolf Sanctuary is Book 1 in her
epic Wolf Maiden Chronicles, a paranormal romance series involving male alpha lycans and their human mates known as wolf maidens. Werewolf Sanctuary is a contemporary that will lead to all the other historical paranormal tales in the Wolf Maiden Chronicles. Book 2 in the series, Beast Warrior :Viking Werewolf, takes place during the Viking era. White Wolf of Avalon: Werewolf Knight will follow in Winter 2010 with a small press. She hopes to sell her current book Lycan Gladiator to a Big House Publisher. She loves to create stories that combine her passion for mythology, romance and werewolf lore. She also writes
fantasy novels, including Gaia’s Keeper and Mystic Stone of the Tenth Realm . Eva has a BS in Zoology and graduate studies in Biology. She has taught high school Biology, Environmental Science and Anatomy/Physiology. Her background in science and her passion for wildlife biology adds credibility to her writings. She also moonlights as a faculty member of the Grey School of Wizardry, an online school for kids and adults interested in magic and lore. A member of Romance Writers of America, Eva has also taught workshops on wolf lore and falconry for writer groups. Eva is a world traveler and loves visiting the places where her novels take place. She lives in Northern California with her husband, and children. She also shares her home with an almost human standard poodle. In her spare time she loves outdoor activities and volunteering at animal sanctuaries.

I’m terrible with the names of movies, but that one with Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfeiffer — Wolf? Oooh, it gave me chill bumps. Maybe he’s not the sexiest werewolf in moviedom, but who plays a better scarey guy than Jack?
It sounds as if you have the perfect background for writing werewolf stories, Eva!
Yes, it was called Wolf. Thanks I love all things ‘wolfish’. I’m running a seminar on wolf lore at Coffee Time Romance forums so do visit.
An American Werewolf in London. It was kicking movie in its time…and I was young and with friends and it was fantastic!!! Starred the “I’m a pepper, you’re a pepper’ David Naughton.
I loved Werewolf of London and Underworld. Can’t wait for Wolfman in a couple weeks.
My hubby loves wolves, so we are a wolf family! LOL!! On the movies…the first Underworld was pretty good, the wolves were very cool. But my romantic teenage side says Teen Wolf Rules!! LOL!
Teen wolf was fun. Great you are a wolf pack family.
Don’t know if I’m too late for your contest, but wanted to stop by anyways. Enjoyed the interview. It would be odd for a werewolf lover to not like hairy men, huh? Not too hairy, though, ’cause then they’re furry even in human form!! I was at an influential age when American Werewolf came out in the theaters, and I loved it. Underworld was a big hit for me too, with the fight between the Lycans and the Vamps. Now a series I really like with Lycans and Vamps is Being Human. I hope the 2nd season starts up here again soon. Can we say, “Lycans, Vamps, and Ghosts, Oh my!” The producers, to me, combine the three paranormal figures well in a tug of war of friendship and their ‘natural’ inclinations.
