Castle: Totally amusing
Sorry this post is late – I did watch Castle last night on the dvr but finished around 1am and was too whipped to type.
So… It was pretty good. Maybe it was the presence of an adorable dog that hooked me hard, or it was the return of the funny lines and amusing repartee, but I was totally on board. Is it just me or is Ryan too freaking cute? I just want to pinch his cheeks and call him sweetie every time he smiles (hmm, that makes me sound weird, huh?). I laughed out loud over the ice bullet / ice hole (what’d you call me?) exchange, especially after Beckett chimed in and told Ryan to watch his mouth. She’s got such a great understated and dry humor, its easy to see how she keeps up with the slightly juvenile humor of the guys, and still keeps them all on their toes.
That bullet lodged in the book? Made me want to write longer books LOL. Beckett’s hair? Totally loving it. How cute and protective Castle and Beckett were of the amnesia dude? Adorable!!!
Favorite Line:
“What am I your wife?”
“Yeah, my work wife.”
few lines later…
“Oh, see. Right there. Disapproving. Judgmental. You’re totally my work wife.”
Heeheehee… I loved the line where Martha told Castle that he’d better hurry up and kiss Beckett. Hellooooo, I’ve been saying that for weeks now, thankyouverymuch *g*

And I’m not sure if its right, but I read somewhere that it comes back on Jan. 4th. I hope that’s right! I miss it already! LOL

Yep I watched it yesterday and I loved Martha’s line. You had better hurry up and kiss her before you get to old.
This was a fun episode. I love the dialog in this show. I also think all of the supporting characters are strong additions. I do wish there had been a little more “attraction” between Castle and Beckett, but I guess the writers don’t want to rush it. The amnesia victim was a real cutie-pie. He looks familiar, so does anybody know who the actor is?
Watched it with my grandpa, he loved it. He figured it out from the very beginning. My favorite part was the ice hole bit. My grandpa and I were laughing. Thought amnesia guy was cute, all I kept saying was he better be innocent.
It was Riley from Buffy! I thought it was cool that both Mark Blucas (amnesia guy) and Castle were on Buffy.
LOVED Beckett’s hair, loved the work-wife. My principal and I were joking about it the next day because she called the VP by her husband’s name. I mentioned he was her work-husband and she got it because she watches Castle, too. Love the ice-hole line.
Hey Tawny, I was waiting for your perspective; it is one of the highlights of watching Castle for me. I loved it too…I totally loved the scenes you pointed out. I also liked the scenes with his mother. The work wife thing got me too…oh, I loved the look of longing on Beckett’s face when the amnesiac sort got back together with his ex. I loved the way the camera panned from her to Castle at that moment…and, they really do need to kiss already or hug or something…
