Please welcome the awesome Nicola Marsh to the blog!! Nicola has 2 current releases: A TRIP WITH THE TYCOON (Harlequin Romance) set in India, & TWO WEEKS IN THE MAGNATE’S BED (Harlequin Presents) set on a South Pacific cruise. Great armchair travels!
If you’d like a chance to win a signed copy of Two Weeks in the Magnate’s Bed, be sure to answer her question today.
Plotter or Pantzer?
Started out a plotter, now more of a pantser. Though I still do a brief outline before starting each book. Helps me feel grounded. And if I get stuck in the ‘sagging middle’, I always resort to trusty pen and paper to plot my way out of it.Light or Dark?
There’s something about a city at night that gives me chills. I’m busy raising two little kiddies yet on the rare occasion I venture into Melbourne at night, seeing the lights of the cityscape on approach still makes me tingle with excitement.Mascara or Lip-gloss?
I’m lucky to be graced with long, dark lashes so rarely wear mascara. Definitely a lip gloss gal. I feel naked without lippy.Jason Bourne or James Bond?
Bond. James Bond. Must be Sean or Pierce though.Dragonfly or Butterfly?
Butterfly: graceful, elegant, beautiful. And I adore the butterfly house at the Melbourne Zoo.Box of Chocolates or A Dozen Roses?
Chocolates every time! There is no contest. My question:
Exotic travel destination: India or South Pacific cruise?
As a girl, Nicola dreamed of being a journalist and traveling the world in search of the next big story. Instead, she chose a career in the health industry while honing her writing skills with a daily entry in a “not-so-secret” journal!
Luckily, she had the opportunity to travel but her dream to write was never far from her mind. She worked as a physiotherapist for thirteen years before she tired of saying “I’m going to write a book one day” and actually did it. She started writing late 2001 and found once she started she couldn’t stop!

Hi Nicola!
I love butterflies, they’re just so beautiful.
I would go with South Pacific cruise.
Hi Nicola. I would choose the South Pacific cruise.
Hi Nicola!
My choice would be the South Pacific cruise.
I love the answers Nicola
I too would take chocolates over roses anyday even though I do love roses although I could have a box of cadburys roses LOL
I would choose a South Pacific cruise I have been on one and would go again anytime
Have Fun
Helen
You’d love the butterfly house at Melbourne Zoo, Nicole. It’s gorgeous!
Crystal and Chey, I would do. I love cruising…despite the fact I get sea sick!
That was supposed to read ‘I would to’. Blame the early morning hour here…!!
Me too, Helen! Both on the chocolates and the cruise!
Congrats on the recent releases, Nicola. I would choose the South Pacific cruise. I’ve always wanted to visit Fiji, French Polynesia, New Zealand and Australia.
Great post Nic. As I type this note,I’m writing the review for your very romantic and entertaining Two Weeks in the Magnates Bed. It was a lovely read, had me dreaming about taking another cruise.
Congratulations on your new releases, Nic. Oh dear, in terms of travel I”m going to be very difficult and say neither — I’d go to London instead. But I’m definitely with you on the chocolate front!
I think it would be a Cruise for me too.
Thanks Jane.
Fiji and NZ are great, Australia is fabulous. But hey, I’m biased
Thanks Marily, can’t wait to read your review! I’m so glad you enjoyed the book
Michelle, I adore London too! Have only been once, really looking forward to returning one day…
Another cruise vote, Dianna. Very popular!
