What a Dance!

Monday nights are fast becoming my favorite TV viewing night (granted, Monday is my only TV viewing night, but that’s not the point here). I’m so loving the dance between Castle and Beckett! The push and pull, the his then hers, the he plays then she plays back and forth that keeps the sexual tension high and intense.

But as awesome as the sexual tension is (and I’m a huge fan of strong sexual tension *g*) I think its the emotional connection, the budding friendship between these two characters I’m enjoying most.

Last night’s episode, Ghosts, rocked. The contrasting moods of the poker games was cool to see as well as actually finding out that Beckett really can hold her own at the game (games? heehee). I thought the real-crime author hitting on Castle was well done, but would have loved to see a little of Beckett’s reaction (or to have had her see it). As always, the writing was solid, the pace fast and the dialogue witty.

My favorite line of the night: “Not scared of a little action… are you?”

Did you watch? What’d you think?

I LOVE this show! Trish and I watched together last night, which was fun. The tension is terrific. I hope they don’t ruin it like they have with Bones.

MJ, why am I not surprised you love Castle… you have such great taste *g* I didn’t realize, though, that you and Trish were close enough to hang out together. I think I’m jealous!!

  2. I never miss Castle. Then I have to rush over to Lee Lofland’s blog to read his dissection of the police actions. LOVE IT!

I’m hooked on it now. I gave it a try the 2nd week it aired and I’ve been watching it every Monday since. I even got my grandpa to watch it with me yesterday and he enjoyed it.
