Quick Six with Jana Mercy

Filed under: Sassy , Sexy Fun, Friends, Promotion — April 10, 2008 @ 8:31 pm

Ellora’s Cave debut author, Jana Mercy stopped in to answer a few quick questions.

Quick Six

1. Boxers or Briefs? Depends on the man. Most, I’d say boxers, but there are some men who deserve to be encased in tightie whities–or brief color of their choice.

2. Chest hair or bare? If the rest of the man turns me on, whether or not he has chest hair doesn’t matter. It’s what inside that chest that matters…a man with a good heart… emotionally and endurance-wise.

3. Scary movies or romantic comedies? Romantic Comedies. :)

4. Deep kiss, feather kiss, or kiss me somewhere else? Kiss me somewhere else. And although it might be easy for someone to think they know what I’m talking about, they’d probably be wrong. I’m talking about kissing the back of my neck, the inside of my wrists, the insteps of my feet. Places that aren’t necessarily considered erotic places to be kissed, but when done properly, oh baby.

5. Daytime or nighttime? Nighttime. It’s when I come alive.

6. Candlelight dinner or dance club? Dance club. I love to dance. I’m not very good at it, but I love to dance.

Bonus Question : Bath or shower? Definitely bubble bath.

Any more questions for Jana? Feel free to ask away. She’s easy ;-)

Her Last Fling

He was her last fling. She was his first.

Tired of dead-end relationships, Katy Simmons is determined to find her forever man. Only problem is, every time she thinks she’s found him, he turns out to be a dud and she no longer trusts her instincts where good-looking men are concerned.

A fab interview with Jana and a contest to win a copy of Her Last Fling and an adorable stuffed cow will be featured in next week’s newsletter! Be sure you’re signed up for my mailing list.

  1. Jana Mercy:

Did you just call me easy? LOL, well, when it comes to talking about HER LAST FLING, I am. I love this story and am still amazed that I actually made up these characters. Katy and Noah are probably the most real characters I’ve ever written. I really hated to finish that book and not have an excuse to keep playing with them, ya know? Then again, there is always the next book & characters, isn’t there? And Gray and Sophia in Strip or Treat rock, too.

Y’all don’t be shy. Go ahead and leave a comment. I’m traveling to the Silken Sands conference in Pensacola today, but will try to find wi-fi spots all along the way.

  2. Carla:

  4. Tawnymwr:

Jana, I cannot wait to get my hands on Strip or Treat, too. I love how connected you are with your characters - almost as much as I love that adorable stuffed cow you’re offering on my newsletter this month LOL.

  5. Marlene:

I love your outlook on life, Jana. Can’t wait to read the story and - I want that cow, too.

  6. Anna Sugden:

Great answers, Jana! Especially the one about kisses.

I loved Her Last Fling and can’t wait for your next book, Strip or Treat!

Is there going to be a fight over MY stuffed cow?

  7. Beth Andrews:

Jana, I can’t wait to read Her Last Fling! It’s going to be my reward when I meet my deadline *g*

Loved your answers to the questions too :-)

    Great Quick Six, Tawny!!

  8. Jana Mercy:

Hi all. Thanks for the comments about Her Last Fling. As I’ve said dozens of times, I love that story and it’s truly one of my favorites–if not the favorite–of the books I’ve written.

LOL on the chest hair question. I will chop his name all to pieces most likely, but I think Dermot Mulroney has nice chest hair–in The Wedding Date he was quite yummy.

  9. Jana Mercy:

I also want to apologize for not being around so much today. Traveling and all. I am currently looking out my hotel room balcony at the Gulf of Mexico. Gorgeous. Of course dipsy me got lost on my drive in…right at the end of my journey actually. Fortunately I was only lost for a few minutes before my favorite Brit rescued me. :)
