Patience is NOT my strong suit
I have incredble, great, party-worthy news… but it’s not mine so I have to wait till the celebrant gives me the green light to make it public. But, lets just say it rocks… pure gold. LOL
While I go crazy waiting to scream from the rooftops, I’m making a list of other things i’m impatient for.
My pool to be finished… theoretically it will have water in it this weekend. But even in warm California, its not likely to be WARM enough for me to go in for at least a week of the solar cover doing its thing. Hubby, darn him, nixed the heater option, saying I didn’t write enough books to cover the gas bill it’d rack up LOL.
My proposals. I have three in right now, and since I’m on the final lap to finish RISQUE BUSINESS, my mind is already skipping ahead to the next story. Except I don’t know what the next story is. Ack its driving me nuts.
Sleep. Dont’ get me wrong, I love to sleep. Its my second favorite thing to do in a bed. But as exhausted as I might be, when the story is flying, I hate having to stop and go sleep. Since the story tends to fly around 1am, sleep is eventually necessary.
Any gift-giving event. Doesnt’ matter if I’m the gift giver or the recipient… I love pressies. I love the anticipation, the hope that its the right thing, the thought and energy and fun that goes into the entire process, from shopping to wrapping to ripping open the paper. I want a present. I want to give presents. Thankfully I have 3 birthdays the end of this month to focus my present impatience on.
And I’m super impatient to share incredible news that makes me want to scream for joy, news that is so well-deserved and fabulous and wonderful…. but it isn’t mine, so until SOMEONE says go ahead, I have to sit here and bounce, waiting impatiently.

I’ve been wanting to post something on my blog as well - but, um… I’m trying to be patient. I think a little pre-announcement partying is always in order though. :drunk_tb:

Yup, We can still celebrate, Tammy. We just can’t explain to people why we’re bouncing around like wild lunatics. Oh wait, do you think anyone will even notice? LOLOL
Beth… I am a little impatient. But I think I’ve done a great job of hiding that small character flaw from you all these years. So now, there it is, out of the bag.
btw, I really think the celebrant should jump the gun and share the news NOW. Blech on official final details… I mean, c’mon!!!!!!

Well, I’m excited you all are so excited. I’m like Tawny with the presents. I’m just as excited to give as I am to receive, other than my new IPod I got for my birthday, not sharing that with anyone. :tongue1_tb:

LOL Jill! No sharesies on the iPod!!! My youngest actaully asked to use mine for a trip we took. It took my husband a half hour of convincing to stop me from going out to buy her one for herself so she’d get away from mine. She was happpy with the old fashioned disk player though, once I’d copied all her fave songs to a cd.

I heard someone say pre-announcement party and here I am!! And I had to LOL at Tawny saying she was impatient. Say it isn’t so!!! snort. ‘nough said.
Now, back to the party! I think we need hunks. And goodness knows we’ll need balloons. And hunks. And chocolate. And hunks. And champagne. And hunks. And confetti. And hunks. And a big banner proclaiming the celebratory news that can’t be shared yet–tee hee! And hunks. And of course when there’s a party there must be hunks. Did I mention hunks are a prerequisite for this preannouncement party?
Tawny, is any of this distracting you yet? Making it easier for you to wait? No? Me neither. Screaming good news from the roof top is going to be soooooo much fun. Somebody get hunks for this party!

Ya think we should have cake? I think this is cake-worthy news. And balloons for sure… the hunks can blow those up. We’ll hang streamers, we’ll have a VAT of margarita’s (cause I know the celebrant is partial to strawberry margaritas) and we’ll scream and yell and dance and whoop it up… cause this news ROCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS :clap_tb:
btw, no, Janice… it didn’t quite distract me.
