Holiday planning - yes, already
I received my latest scrapbook magazine today and saw the CUTEST albums by BoBunny (not yet released, dammit). Its chipboard (think thick cardboard) cut into letters, forming different words depending on the album. Believe, Love, Friends, Party, etc… They’ve decorated the example for Christmas and it got me thinking what a PERFECT gift it would be for all the grandparents. Holiday shots over the years, pretty holiday papers and embellishments… OMG I’m excited to make some! Of course, I’d be more excited if I could order it now, so I can plan out when to start, but thems the breaks. I want the party one too to create an album of my nieces first birthday - tooo fun!
I scanned the ad since I can’t find the product anywhere on the web - this is it:

This made me realize its time to start planning my holiday shopping & crafting. Gifts to make, cards to make (yeah, I make them myself… this year I’m starting in Sept instead of Thanksgiving LOL), lists to make. I’ve already figured out one gift for my mom- its perfect. Now for everyone else LOL.
How about you? When do you start your holiday shopping? Do you make things, or go strictly retail?

TWO words, Tawny - YOU’RE CRAZY!! :jittery_tb:
I mean that in the most loving way, of course. :wub_tb:
I haven’t had a seconds thought over the upcoming holidays - until now. I think that I can safely say that I won’t be making anything - although - we have toyed with the idea of making some scented tarts to give away - as sort of a school project. I might do that if I get bit by the creative bug.
I think your scrapbooking stuff is WAY cool though!!

I’m ignoring the crazy comment, Tammy (even though you’re probably right LOL) cause I have to ask… what’s a scented tart?
I’ll share these if I make them. I’d need 6 for gifts and would have to have one of my own… so it’ll depend on when they release them. But… arne’t they adorable!!??!!
btw… one of my neighbors is not only finished with her holiday shopping… all her gifts are wrapped. Now THAT is crazy :innocent1_tb:

You’re right - that IS CRAZY!!!
Scented Tart… LOL… doesn’t that sound like it should just be naughty? I guess if it were naughty though that would make me a bad mom for considering it a possible school project? :devil_tb:
It’s just like a little candle without the wick. You melt it in melter things. Ha ha - hows that for descriptive? :wallbash_tb:

Ooooh, I love those, Tammy. How do you make them? I have a couple burners I use regularly, but have to replenish my “tart” supply LOL

I’m not really sure yet. :doh_tb: It’s just something I’ve been thinking of doing. I’m guessing you buy wax and melt it and buy scents and add them and then pour them into a mold and let them harden? LOL - It might not actually be as easy as it sounds - but sounded like fun.
