Including today, I have about 13 days to prep for confenence. Rather than stress alone over getting it all together, I thought I’d share the angst (I’m so nice that way, huh?)

Here’s a peek at a few tings from to-do list for the next two weeks minus one day…

Promo materials:
Dare Survival Kits. — Okay -these are coming along nicely. They are definitely fun, the kit case is crafted and now I’m creating the Dare Handbook to go with all the goodies. One of these will be given away at the PRO retreat, another at the From The Heart function. I’m debating offering one as a drawing prize as well (what d’ya think? Would you want a Dare Survival Kit?)

Magnetic Bookmarks — These are about half-done. I’m making about 300, and have all the materials assembled but haven’t put them together. I figure that’s a job for Sunday night during The Next Food Network Star (I’m addicted).

Workshops:
Slush Pile — I’ve got a solid outline, just have to put it into “presentation form” and get ahold of one other sample of “voice”.

Questions for an Agent — Woot - this is written. I did the verbal runthrough this evening and the timing is about right, but I came up with a few revisions I need to do to tweak it and make it flow better.

Other Stuff:
Clothes — ugh. I have a scheduled shopping trip for July 2. I’m ignoring this until then. I have two formals and one semi-formal to attend, though, so it should be interesting.

Electronics — Transfer files to the laptop (I never leave home without transfering everything from my pc to my laptop… I’m paranoid), prep iPod with travel tunes, put conference schedule in outlook and sync with Axim, charge camera batteries.

I know there’s something else…

Oh yeah… write. I need to write. I have a comfortable cushion before my deadline, but I want to keep it that way. Risque Business is coming along, and I have to say, this hero is HOT.
