My January release, DOES SHE DARE? is heading into production (OMG so fun!! I love it LOL) and I’m thinking about fun promotion stuff to do for this book.

One of the things featured in the story is chocolate cake. Yummy, decadent, deliciously sinful chocolate cake (three layers, with sprinkles). Sounds tempting, doesn’t it?

Because DOUBLE DARE featured strawberry margaritas, one of the promotional giveways I had was a KILLER strawberry margarita recipe– and a pair of margarita glasses. I’ve decided (with Beth’s help) to do a chocolate cake recipe card and a hand-painted cake platter for this book!

One problem, though. I personally had the killer strawberry margarita recipe. But I don’t have a killer chocolate cake recipe. Soo…. Contest Time!!!

June 1st I’ll launch the Killer Chocolate Cake contest. Anyone who’d like to will submit recipes, I’ll come up with a panel of testers (I’m sure I can get a dozen or so people willing to bake chocolate cake and tell me how it is LOL) and on June 15th, we’ll pick the top three and then I’ll bake them myself. Hmmm - I’ll have to come up with a different panel to be the final judges :happy_tb: I have just the ladies in mind, too!
