I Sold pressies
A few years ago I heard some stories about published author’s giving themselves little presents to celebrate their sales - what a cool idea. Most seemed to go for jewelry, but that didn’t excite me much. Then it hit me - Shoes! I love footwear. Granted, I go barefoot more often than not, but I still love cute shoes.
For my DOUBLE DARE sale, I found a pair of boots that I adored. They were similar to a pair I’d loved and wore almost daily until my dog ate them (grrr). Ala Pirates of the Carribean, very fun and sexy. Individual and harkening back to my wilder days -they were a perfect celebration of my heroine, Audra.
So for my next two sales?

Definitely cute, a little mainstream but with an edge - perfect for Isabel.
and for RISQUE BUSINESS ~
Hot, sexy and a little over the top, just what Delaney would end up wearing after her makeover.
Aren’t they both darling? Did I mention I LOVE shoes? :wub_tb:

The polka dots ones are to die for. I want some. :cry_wp: I like to treat myself to stuff I don’t normally do like facials or getting my nails done.

I bought myself an outfit that I never, ever would have bought when I sold to Harlequin. I still need shoes to go with it, though…uhm…oh Tawny????

Gorgeous shoes … (grumble, grumble, why can’t I find polka dot shoes when I need them?!). Then again - can I just mention Chanel triple straps? :smiley2_tb:
Can see I’m going to have to go on a pre-Nationals shopping trip. Now if only I could sell and treat myself.
