Movies
My good friend, Lindsey Brookes, is an American Title III finalist- check out what she created - http://lindseybrookes.com/AmTitlepage.htm
That’s so clever. I am seeing a lot of these movies lately - what do you think? Do they generate attention? Sales? Votes, in Lindsey’s case? As a reader, I wonder if a movie clip would hurry me along to buy a book, or if it’d just be a fun distraction?
What do you think?

I think they’re really cool and would love to give it a shot myself - love any excuse to procrastinate. Not sure if they’d make me buy any book that I wasn’t already going to buy - but they’re fun to watch.

I enjoy the new book trailers. I watched Lindsey’s and thought it was awesome and well done. On another blog I mentioned I won’t see a movie without a trailer and soon I may need a trailer to put forth effort to remember a book. I mentioned there too, that I think B&N and Amazon are missing a great resource without trailers on their webpages.
