Gearing up for…
Promotion. I have to get serious here. My book isn’t out for over 6 months, but these are crucial months, I’m learning. The months when I should be booking my ads, my online promotion venues, purchasing my promotion items… all that jazz.
Except I’m clueless. I do have a few things figured out. Some really fun contests I’ll be running (like two weeks of chocolate… yum) and some non-standard bookmarks that I’m so happy with. But promotion sites? Ack, its so intimidating. So many sites, so little knowledge.
I’ve taken some great workshops on promotion, and realize there is only so much that can be done online. I have a list of non-internet things I should do (I really should get started… like sending a press kit to the local newspaper… hmmm… yeah, really should do that soon) but the online stuff keeps nagging at me. Like its something important, I have to do it.
So… how about sharing what reader sites you hang out at? I’d love ideas, directions, input.

Hey Tawny! I don’t really hang out at any reader sites much. But, I’m anxious to see what other comments you get. You are the queen of organization, if anybody can get promotion all figured out - it’s you! Good luck!

Tawny, you’ll have no problem with promotion, you are so organized. Besides, it is definitely a learn as you go experience.
